Henry F. Bucy, 74, of Vermont, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, at 10:10 a.m. at the McDonough District Hospital, Macomb.

He was born on October 26, 1922, in Fulton County, a son of William and Erma Horner Bucy. He married Eva M. White on April 6, 1962. She survives.

Also surviving are three stepsons, Eugene A. White of Carson City, Nev., William J. White of Beardstown, Norman L. White of Astoria; five step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, June McCormick of Vermont and Betty Ricketts of Peoria, Ariz.; five brothers, Ansel Bucy of Silvis, Eldon Bucy of Vermont, John Bucy of Astoria, Claire Bucy of Claypool, Ariz., George Bucy of Beardstown; and two half-sisters, Dorothy Bucy Hughes of Rushville and Vera Bucy Brillhart of Williamsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Otis Bucy and Wayne Bucy; three half brothers, Ernie Bucy, Charles Bucy, and Boyd Bucy; and one half-sister, Lela Bucy Mendenhall; and one stepson, Gary L. White.

He worked at the Vermont Foundry for 35 years and was a Navy Vet of World War II and a member of Vermont American Legion Post 26.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Vermont United Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip Derry officiating and burial was in the Vermont Cemetery with military rites by his Legion Post.
