She was born July 7, 1925, in Astoria, a daughter of Hugh and Susie Farwell Curless. She married Philip Robertson on April 27, 1947, in Havana. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1998.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Robertson; six sisters, Nellie Ruth, Edith Lee, Olive Howell, Opal Schisler, Nora Curless and Myrna Phillips; four brothers, William, Hartford, John and Ted Curless; and two great-grandchildren.
Surviving are one daughter, Hila Phillips; three sons, Steve Robertson and Allen (and Sheila) Robertson, both of Ipava, and Chris (and Jan) Robertson of Avon; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She went to work in 1963 at Bluebell Manufacturing in Bushnell. She also worked at Fiber Steel, Atwood and Dana Manufacturing. She retired from Canton Manufacturing in April of 1994 at age 69. She was a member of Ipava Christian Church.
Services were held Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Brandt Reed officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.
