Nora Fern, daughter of Hugh and Susie Curless was born Dec. 28th, 1906, died Oct. 20th, 1918, age 11 yrs., 9 months and 10 days.
She leaves a father, mother, four sisters: Nellie, Opal, Olive, Edith and one brother, William with a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Nora was bright and of a kind disposition and will be sadly missed in the home and school.
All was done that loving hands could do, but the Father has willed it otherwise. The one that loves little children has called the sweet spirit of this little girl back to himself.
Funeral services were conducted at the home, Monday, Oct. 21st at 2 p.m., by Rev. J. H. Davis. Interment in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
