Mrs. Deloss Markley Dies In Home of Son in Havana

Mrs. Minnie J. Markley, 67, died Monday morning in the home of her son, Dale Markley, of Havana. She had been making her home there the past five months.

Mrs. Markley, who became ill nine months ago, was a member of the United Brethren church of Marbletown.

Born near Astoria March 30, 1890, she was a daughter of William and Annie Engle Farwell. She was married to Deloss Markley Feb. 29, 1908.

He survives with one daughter, Mrs. Irma Boyd of Browning, two sons, Dale of Havana, and Wilbert of Lewistown; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Curless, Astoria, and Mrs. Flossie Rose, Peoria; and three brothers, Darius and John Farwell, both of Astoria, and Robert Farwell of Peoria.

Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Evangelical United Brethren church of Astoria, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson and Rev. L. F. Gerard. Burial in Mt. Zion cemetery.

The Shawgo Memorial Home had charge of the services.
