Lola M. Blodgett, 85, of Astoria, died at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1996, at Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born Nov. 25, 1910 in Summum, a daughter of Burley and Allie Huff Shawgo. She married Lester Danner on Sept. 20, 1926. She later married Russell Blodgett on Dec. 26, 1958. He died April 29, 1972. She also was preceded in death by one son, Willis Danner.
Surviving are three sons, Dwayne Danner of Astoria, Loren Dean Danner of Vian, Okla., and Wendell Danner of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Willadean Shaffer and Estyl McCombs, both of Astoria; three stepdaughters, Ina Camp of Astoria, Mary Sepich and Thelma Lockard, both of Canton; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Vera Wilson of Astoria.
She was a member of the Woodland Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Phillip Derry officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery near Astoria.
