Ina Camp

Ina M. Camp, 82, of Astoria, died at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 1999, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Isabell Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Russell C. and Cassie Foutch Blodgett. She married Willard C. Camp on Oct. 28, 1939, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Nov. 15, 1997.

She also was preceded in death by one infant son, Brian, and one sister.

Surviving are one son, Roger (and Sheila) Camp of Midwest City, Okla.; one sister, Thelma Lockard of Canton; and four grandsons.

She was a teacher for 32 years in the Astoria area, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of the Sunshine Club, where she served as recording secretary, and both the life and local chapters of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association.

She was a member of Astoria Christian Church in Astoria.

Services were held Monday at her church with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
