Mrs. Mary Yost, 88, of Astoria died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1980 at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born May 18, 1892, near Bader, the daughter of Jacob D. and Anna A. Cassel Miller. She married Henry Yost Nov. 4, 1914, in Bader. He died March 10, 1980.
She was a member of the Old Order German Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Marshall of Astoria and Samuel of Modesto, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Anna) Davison of Rockford, Mrs. Wayne (Ruth) Waggoner of Astoria and Mrs. Gilbert (Margaret) Welch of Macomb; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence “Christy” Miller of Beardstown; and one sister, Mrs. Cecil (Ruth) Cable of Browning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mud Valley Church with Orvel Gish, officiating. Burial was in Mud Valley Cemetery.
