GERALD L. DAVISON

Gerald L. Davison Dies At Age 63

Gerald L. Davison, 63, 4532 Pembrooke Place, Rockford, died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 1974, in his home after a long illness.

Mr. Davison was born Aug. 10, 1910, in Kansas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Davison. He had lived 38 years in Rockford, coming there from Kansas.

He was married to the former Ann Yost in Astoria, Ill., on July 20, 1941. He was employed as a tool and die maker by Twin Disc Clutch for 28 years, and was a member of Aerie No. 392 Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include his widow, Ann; two daughters, Mrs. James E. (Joyce Elaine) Rayborn of Rockford and Mrs. Richard L. (Joan Marie) Salsbury, Jr. of Oceanside, Calif.; two grandchildren; one brother, Ollie, of Nebraska; and two sisters, Mrs. Delta Wray of Ottawa, Kans. and Mrs. Martha Jamison of Pomona, Kans.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in Fred C. Olson Mortuary, in Rockford with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Attending the funeral for Mr. Davison from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Marshal Yost and Stephen, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Waggoner, Robert Cripe, Morris Cripe, Andrew Miller, and David Miller.
