Mrs. Ralph Price, Peoria, Dies Friday Morning Following Child Birth

Mrs. Alice Price, wife of Ralph Price of Peoria, a nephew of the editor of the Argus-Searchlight, died at the St. Francis hospital, Peoria, Friday morning, following the birth of a son, George William, Thursday night.

She was born in Astoria, Ill., on December 22, 1908, the daughter of William and Anna Farwell, and married Ralph Price in Lewistown in 1924. She had been a resident of Peoria for 11 years. Mrs. Price was a member of the Olivet Missionary church and was quite active in Christian work.

Surviving are her husband, her mother, four children: Patricia, Richard, Linda and George; three brothers, Robert Farwell, Peoria; Darius Farwell, Bluff City, Ill.; and John Farwell, Astoria; and three sisters, Mrs. Susie Curless, Mrs. Florence Rose and Mrs. Minnie Markley, all of Astoria.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home, with burial in Parkview cemetery.

Quite a number of relatives and friends from here attended the funeral. Her death was, indeed, a sad one, especially when one, so young, just in the bloom of life, mother of four small children, was needed so badly in the home. The infant, still in the hospital, is doing nicely.

The funeral was largely attended and the floral offerings were most profusely.
