She was born June 15, 1927, in Astoria Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Ralph and Alice Farwell Price.
Surviving are one son, Leonard (and Lorrie) Starosta of Carol Stream; one daughter, Alice (and Ralph) Zanfardino of Franklin Park, one sister, Linda (and Jim) Derry of Astoria; one stepsister, Stella Price of Pinellas Park, Fla.; one brother, George (and Lori) Price of Morrisville, Ind.; one half brother, Carl (and Diane) Simon of Canton; three stepbrothers, Curtis Price, Kimble (and Jeanne) Price and Kevin Price, all of Pinellas Park, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She worked at Mars Candy Co. in Chicago, retiring after 30 years of service.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Astoria.
