Harold L. Windsor, 80, of Macomb died at 9:34 a.m. April 5, 2010, at Astoria Gardens.

He was born Feb. 20, 1930, in St. David, a son of William and Helen Courtney Windsor. He married Norma Ford on Feb. 25, 1952, in Canton. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Randall (and Deborah) Windsor of Canton, Timothy (and Linda) Windsor of Rushville, and David (and Patty) Windsor and John Windsor, both of Macomb; three daughters, Sandra (and Jan) McCombs of Littleton, Penny (and Mike) Hickle of Macomb and Aimee (and Shannon Burget) Windsor of Summum; three brothers, Albert (and Lois) Windsor of Smithfield, and Donald (and Patsy) Windsor and Larry (and Judy) Windsor, both of Summum; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia L. Windsor; one grandson, Casey Chrisco; and one sister, Lula Belle Stufflebeam.

He was a United States Navy veteran.

He worked for Pabst Brewery in Peoria and Caterpillar Tractor Company in Mapleton and East Peoria, retiring in 1990.

He was a member of UAW Local 974 of East Peoria.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Reverend Robert Einhouse officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
