Norma Windsor

Norma WindsorNorma Windsor, 84, of Rushville died at 10:35 p.m. Sept. 24, 2017, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 22, 1933, a daughter of John Roscoe and Gordia Eurith Benham Ford. She married Harold Lee Windsor on Feb. 25, 1952, in Canton. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2010.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Windsor; two sisters, Wilma Parks and Delores Thompson; five brothers, John, Richard, James, Rosco and Ralph Ford; and two grandchildren, Amanda Chrisco and Casey Chrisco.

Surviving are four sons, Randall (and Deborah) Windsor and Timothy Windsor, both of Canton, David Windsor of Macomb and John Windsor of Astoria; three daughters, Sandra (and Jan) McCombs of Littleton, Penny Windsor of Macomb and Aimee (and Shannon) Burget of Summum; one sister, Judy Mitchell of Inota, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She worked in housekeeping at Graham Hospital in Canton. She also worked at the overall factory in Canton and the glove factory in Beardstown. She was a homemaker for several years.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
