Larry Windsor

Larry WindsorLarry E. Windsor, 70, of Ipava died at 10:45 a.m. March 18, 2011, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Dec. 30, 1940, in Canton, a son of William and Helen Courtney Windsor. He married Judy Ogden on Aug. 4, 1960, in Maples Mills. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Teresa (and Doug) Hamm of Astoria; two sons, Chuck (and Linda) Windsor and Carl "Boob" (and Vicky) Windsor, both of Astoria; two brothers, Donald (and Patsy) Windsor of Astoria and Albert (and Lois) Windsor of Smithfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Windsor; and one sister, Lula Belle Stufflebeam.

He worked at International Harvester in Canton for 19 years. He then was a foreman at Meadowlark Farms in Astoria. He worked at Anderson Lake Conservation Area in Astoria and Bucher Fence Builders of Astoria.

He was a member of Illinois Valley Fox Hunter's Association of Smithfield.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery in Astoria.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, Peoria.
