Mary A. Wickwire, 80, formerly of Ipava, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Rose Garden Care Center in Peoria Heights, where she was a resident.
She was born April 12, 1922, in Ipava, a daughter of John and Edith Coleman Barrett. She married Donald Wickwire. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Campbell.
Surviving are one son, Charles (and Nancy) of Florence, Ala; one daughter, Dian (and Stan) Cook of Washington; one sister, Betty (and William) Cassel of Astoria; two brothers, Paul (and Rosalie) Barrett of Astoria and Robert (and Virginia) Barrett of Galesburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She had been a bookkeeper at Clayton-Mark Foundry in Vermont.
She attended Ipava Presbyterian Church for several years.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to Spoon River Hospice at Graham Hospital in Canton or to any charity.
