Mrs. Edith Barrett Of Ipava Dies

Mrs. Edith M. Barrett, 73, of Ipava died Thursday evening in Clarytona Manor Nursing home in Lewistown.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lewistown, where she was a member with Rev. Robert W. O’Connor officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Barrett was born June 20, 1897, in Isabel Township, Fulton County, the daughter of Frank and Addie Strouse Coleman. She was married to John Barrett on Jan. 6, 1921, at Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wickwire of Ipava, Mrs. Betty Cassel and Mrs. Margaret Campbell, both of Astoria; two sons, Paul Barrett of Astoria and Robert Barrett of Ipava; and 11 grandchildren.

One sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
