Mrs. Margaret F. Campbell, 57, of Astoria, died unexpectedly at her home about 8:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 1985.
She was born Nov. 9, 1927, at Canton, a daughter of John E. and Edith Coleman Barrett. She was married to Dr. Bernard D. Campbell on Sept. 7, 1952, at Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kent (Jan) Boucher of Springfield; two sons, Terry Campbell of Bolingbrook and David Campbell of Darien; two grandchildren; her father, John E. Barrett of Ipava; two sisters, Mrs. Donal (Mary) Wickwire of Ipava, Mrs. William (Betty) Cassel of Astoria; and two brothers, Robert Barrett of Galesburg and Paul Barrett of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
She was a member of the Astoria American Legion Auxiliary, St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Lewistown, Auxiliary of the American Veterinary Association, and of the Auxiliary of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Lewistown with Rev. Robert W. O’Connor officiating. Burial will be in the Astoria Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with the Rosary at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in her memory.
