Ethel M. Dohner, 95, of Astoria, died at 1 a.m. Friday, Apr. 9, 1993, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born May 6, 1897 in Astoria, the daughter of John H. and Mary Schisler Rowland. She married David R. Dohner Nov. 24, 1917, at Astoria. He preceded her in death Mar. 21, 1976.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Dohner of Astoria and Dr. Russell Dohner of Rushville; five daughters, Doris Cook of Industry, Beula Garrabrant of Peoria, Lydia Copes of Rushville, Norma Dohner of St. Charles and Clarice Dohner of Astoria; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother.
Mrs. Dohner was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Astoria Church of the Brethren with Rev. Wayne Rouse officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
