INA A. (FARWELL) CURLESS

Mrs. Ina Curless Dies At Age 69

Mrs. Ina A. Curless, 69, of Astoria, died at 8:04 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 27, 1985, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born April 16, 1915, in Fulton County, the daughter of Darius and Rose (Workman) Farwell. She married Harley Curless Oct. 20, 1932, in Astoria. He died Oct. 11, 1982.

She was also preceded in death by her father and one brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Donna Lane of Springfield and Mrs. Wilma Lawson of Jacksonville; two sons, Jack and Donal Curless, both of Havana; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Rose Farwell of Rushville; four brothers, Dean and Louis Farwell of Rushville, Arthur Farwell of Peoria and Philip Farwell of Morton; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Hulvey of Rushville and Mrs. Wanda Landes of Beardstown.

She was a member of Bluff City Community Church.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Astoria Church of the Brethren with Rev. Fred Meisenheimer officiating. Burial was in Bluff City Cemetery.
