Mrs. Rose Farwell, 94, of Rushville, died at 1:02 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1988, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Mar. 22, 1893, in Fulton County, a daughter of Jesse and Rebecca (Dutton) Workman. On Sept. 25, 1912, she was married to William Darius Farwell in Astoria. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1984.
Survivors include four sons, Dean Farwell and Louis Farwell of Rushville, Arthur Farwell of Peoria and Philip Farwell of Morton; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Hulvey of Rushville and Mrs. Wanda Landes of Beardstown; 22 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 27 great, great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three children, two sisters, two brothers and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Marvin Chockley officiating. Burial is in the Browning Cemetery.
