She was born May 6, 1933, in Fulton County, a daughter of Harley and Ina Curless. She married Walter Burrell Lane on Dec. 19, 1954, in Jacksonville. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Lane; one brother, Donald Curless; and one sister, Wilma Lawson.
Surviving are one daughter, Rhonda (and Kevin) Spellacy of Vero Beach, Fla.; one brother, Jackie L. Curless of Havana; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a secretary for the State of Illinois for many years. She was a member of Western Oak Baptist Church in Springfield.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Browning Cemetery.
