Don L. Snowden Of Vermont Dies

Don L. Snowden, 50, of Vermont died at 3:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 1977, at his home.

He was born in Eldorado Township, McDonough County, Jan. 25, 1927, a son of Otis and Nellie Miller Snowden. He married Charlene Harper in Macomb Jan. 7, 1946. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Hendricks of Vermont and Mrs. Linda Bair of Cuba; three sons, Randall and Michael, both of Vermont and Herbert of Table Grove; 12 grandchildren; six brothers, Edmund of Vermont, Eldon of Macomb, Dave of Marietta, Ga., Norman of Table Grove, Wendell of Pineville, La., and Larry of Farmington.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a machinist and a set-up man for Tingley Products in Ipava for 23 years and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Vermont Christian Church with the Rev. Dan Caulkins officiating. Burial will be in the Vermont Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Kost Memorial Home of Vermont.
