Andrew B. Samuell Summum Resident Died Last Sunday

Andrew B. Samuell died at his home in Summum, Sunday, May 15, aged 82 years, 1 month and 21 days.

The deceased was born in Bath, Ill., March 24, 1845. He was united in marriage to Sarah A. Cousins, October 1, 1875. To this union was born seven children, five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Gilson, Mrs. Nancy Baumgartner and Mrs. Bernice Sackman of Summum and Mrs. Martha Valentine of Bluff City, and Mrs. Lena Scrogum, deceased; two sons, Robert and William Samuell, both of Panora, Iowa.

When but a young man he made the confession of his faith in Christ. About eighteen years ago he united with the Summum Christian church and was a member until his death.

He leaves to mourn his death besides his wife and children, two sisters, Mrs. Martha Powell of Mason City, also sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Summum Christian church, conducted by Rev. W. T. Nichols. Interment in Summum cemetery.
