Young Wife Died In Prime Of Life; Funeral Sunday

Mrs. Eva Shawgo of Summum, died Friday at 5:30 p.m., at the Phelps hospital, Macomb, following a serious operation. She was aged 31 years, 4 months and 19 days.

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones and was born June 26, 1893, four miles northeast of Summum. On June 23, 1912, she was united in marriage to George Shawgo, residing north of Summum. To them four children were born, two sons and two daughters, Lela Leota, Keith Devere, Delbert William and Nelda Lee, who with the bereft husband mourn her death. Besides her husband and children, she leaves to mourn her untimely death, her parents, three brothers and four sisters, Harry of Greenview, Don of Vermont, Russel at home, Mrs. Elzie Parr of Vermont, Mrs. Glen Wileman of Avon, Mrs. Harry Morse of Summum and Miss Ila at home.

The deceased was a member of the Christian church at Summum and lived a faithful, conscientious Christian life.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Summum, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. Tilden Sapp of Shubert, Nebr. Interment in the Summum cemetery.
