Ila May Hubbs, 90, of Canton, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 1996, at Graham Hospital Extended Care.
She was born June 10, 1905, in Ipava, a daughter of William F. and Hattie Weese Jones. She married Ralph Walraven on July 19, 1926, in Rock Island. He died Oct. 23, 1974. She married Raymond Hubbs on Nov. 15, 1975, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Shirley Rohrer of Canton; one stepdaughter, Adriane Cowan of Macomb; one stepson, Robert Hubbs of California; one brother Russel Jones of Lewistown; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jackie Walraven and Mark Walraven; one grandson, Rick Walraven; two brothers and four sisters.
She worked at Canton Manufacturing Co. for 22 years. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Dean Bucalos officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
