Aged Summum Woman Passed Away Yesterday

Mrs. Hattie Elizabeth Weese Jones passed away at her home in Summum Tuesday morning at 8:45, following a long illness.

She was born in Mason county, April 9, 1877, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Athey Weese. She was aged 72 years, one month and 28 days.

The deceased was united in marriage to William Jones, Dec. 25, 1892. He preceded her in death March 11, this year. The following children survive: Harry Jones of Greenview; Mrs. Cora Morse, of Ipava; Don Jones, Astoria; Mrs. Lulu Parr, Vermont; Mrs. Ila Walraven, Canton; Russell Jones of Lewistown; also two sisters, Mrs. Effie Malott of Astoria and Mrs. Mary Forsythe, of Ipava.

She was a member of the Christian church.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian church in Summum, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in Summum cemetery.
