She was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Browning, a daughter of Lossie and Lula Gibson Bollinger. She married Max Eugene Riebling on Dec. 22, 1945. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were four siblings, Donna Wehmeier, Hermenia Egbert, Inez Egbert and Virgil Bollinger.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy (and Gary) Zindars and Cindy (and Jeff) Benefield; two sisters, Edna Miller and Marilyn Orwig; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was baptized in the Church of Christ in Browning.
She worked for several years for the Monticello and Catlin school districts.
Graveside services will be held at the Browning Cemetery at a later date. Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
