She was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Browning, a daughter of Luther and Leona (Vaughn) Bollinger. She married Eldon Lee Norton in 1961. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1989.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Richard and Eugene Bollinger; and two sisters, Mary Lou Bird and Marilyn Bollinger.
Surviving are two sisters, Betty Norton of Beardstown and Freida Stambaugh of Macomb; and adopted family of Patty, Mark and Joe Prather of Rushville.
She detasseled corn in her younger days, and was a homemaker.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rushville, and attended Rushville Church of the Nazarene.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Fred Fritz officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
