Richard L. Bollinger, 71, of Rushville died at 12:05 a.m. Feb. 13, 2011, in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Dec. 26, 1939, in Rushville, a son of Luther and Leona Vaughn Bollinger.
Surviving are three sisters, Charlotte Norton of Rushville, Betty Norton of Beardstown and Freida Stambaugh of Astoria.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Bollinger and Mary Lou Bird; and two brothers, Robert and Eugene Bollinger.
He was a handyman in the Rushville and Beardstown area.
He was a member of Rushville Church of the Nazarene.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Reverend Fred Fritz officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to his church or Snyder’s Vaughn Haven Nursing Home.
