Mrs. Frank Lau Dies At Her Home In Canton

Mrs. Frank Lau passed away last Thursday at her home in Canton, aged 67 years, 3 months and 21 days.

The deceased, a former resident of Astoria, was born Feb. 8, 1874. She was united in marriage to Franklin Lau in 1894. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Maymie McMullen, Farmington; Frank Lau, Canton; Elmer Lau, of Chapin, Mrs. Rose Vaughn, Vermont; Mrs. Florine Trone, Rushville, and Mrs. Nellie Ward and Howard Lau of Havana. Also two stepchildren, Mrs. Oscar Thompson of Summum, and Grover Lau of Canton, 26 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Orpha Rauch, Ipava and two brothers, Judson Hughes of Canton and Lawrence Hughes of Hemet, Calif.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Summum Christian church, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Interment in Summum cemetery.
