Rose A. Vaughn, 86, of 515 W. Olive St., Canton, died at 6:11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 1988, at Graham Hospital emergency room.
She was born Dec. 23, 1901, in Bluff City to Frank and Louisa Hughes Lau. She married Theodore R. Vaughn in Astoria. He died Dec. 2, 1971, in Peoria.
Surviving are one son, Paul of Joliet, four daughters, Mrs. Earl (Lois) Vaughn, Mrs. Joseph (Sara) Rosich, Mrs. Manley (Dorothy) Staley, and Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) Behm, all of Canton; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, one half brother, four sisters, and one half sister.
Services were held Tuesday at Oaks Chapel, Canton, with Rev. David Seitz officiating. Burial was in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
