Loralee M. Head, 92, of Astoria died at 4:27 a.m. March 27, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Nov. 20, 1916, in Astoria, a daughter of Harley and Pearl Punneo Welker. She married Leroy E. Head on Aug. 24, 1946, in Lewistown. He died Feb. 12, 1985.
She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Opal Wolfe, Evelyn Rahmeyer and Doris Derry; and five brothers, Willard, Max, Gale, Rennold and Eugene Welker.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and cleaned homes for many people in the Astoria area.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services were held Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Jim Comstock officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
