Evelyn M. Rahmeyer, 85, of Toulon died at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 3, 1994, at Kewanee Hospital.
She was born Jan. 12, 1909, in Astoria, a daughter of Harley and Pearl Punneo Welker. She married Fred H. Rahmeyer on June 15, 1947, in Peoria. He died Oct. 6, 1970. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Surviving are three sisters, Opal Wolfe of Peoria and Doris Derry and Loralee Head, both of Astoria.
She was a bookkeeper for United Airlines and for her husband’s insurance office in Toulon. She was a member of the Astoria United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held this morning at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
