Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville for Guy J. Hulvey, 73, of Rushville with Rev. Paul Williamson officiating. Burial was in Rushville Cemetery.
Mr. Hulvey died at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 1976, at Culbertson Hospital.
He was born Nov. 29, 1902, in Ipava, the son of George and Sarah Strode Hulvey. He married Marie Smith June 1, 1926, in Monmouth.
Mr. Hulvey was a farmer and a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow; two sons, Eugene Hulvey of Camden and Maynard Hulvey of Rushville; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Marlene) Briggs of Rushville; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Workman of Astoria, Mrs. Frances Roberts of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Freda Day of Sunland, Calif.; and two brothers, Maurice Hulvey of Ipava and Glen Hulvey of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
