Doris CookDoris Mary Dohner Cook, 98, of rural Industry died June 28, 2018, at Bickford Cottage in Macomb.

She was born March 6, 1920, in Astoria, a daughter of David R. and Ethel Rowland Dohner. She married Ronald L. Cook on Dec. 31, 1942, in Vermont. He preceded her in death in September, 2017.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dohner and Dr. Russell Dohner; and four sisters, Beulah Garrabrant, Lydia Copes Goodwin, Norma Dohner and Clarice Dohner.

Surviving are three daughters, Mary Ann Cook (and Dr. Joseph Cusumano) of St Louis, Ramona Cook of Industry and Linda (and Michael) Kuehl of Elgin; one grandson, Dr. Michael Cusumano of Springfield; three nephews; and three nieces.

She graduated from Vermont High School. She was her husband Ronald’s helpmate throughout his career as a coach and teacher. She was active in Girl Scouts, Parent Teachers Association and volunteer work.

She was a member of Industry United Methodist Church.

Funeral service was held Saturday at Clugston Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial was in Chockley Cemetery.
