Arletta BollingerArletta M. Bollinger, 65, of Astoria died at 11:06 a.m. Aug. 19, 2012, in the emergency room at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born Nov. 26, 1946, in Beardstown, the daughter of Wilson and Fern Marie Hopping Stambaugh. She married Larry Herschel Bollinger on March 6, 1966, in Sheldons Grove. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kimberlee Lockard of Astoria and Kelly (and Ron) Strode of Browning; one son, Jeff (and Heather) Bollinger of Astoria; one brother, Virgil (and Opal) Stambaugh of Astoria; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Lee Stambaugh.

She was employed at Illinois Glove Factory in Beardstown, Tenneco in Jacksonville and cooked at Jeane's Kountry Kitchen in Astoria.

She attended Astoria Christian Church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matt Haberman officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
