She was born Jan. 7, 1970, in Rushville, a daughter of Larry and Arletta Stambaugh Bollinger. She married Ron Strode on Sept. 9, 1990, at Camp Emmanuel in Browning. He preceded her in death on Aug. 16, 2022.
She also was preceded by her mother, Arletta Bollinger.
Surviving are one daughter, Chelsea (and Shane) Wooden of Lincoln; and one son, Rylee (and Nakoma Goodsell) Strode of Vermont; her father, Larry Bollinger of Astoria; one sister, Kimberlee (and Steve) Hoover of Brooklyn; and one brother, Jeff Bollinger of Astoria; and one grandchild.
She worked at JBS in Beardstown and also as a caretaker at D & D Homes in Havana.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matt Haberman officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
