He was born Aug. 14, 1963, in Los Angeles, Calif., a son of Wayne and Joy Ewing Strode. He married Kelly Bollinger on Sept. 9, 1990, in Browning. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Chelsea (and Shane) Wooden of Lincoln; one son, Rylee (and Nakoma Goodsell) Strode of Vermont; one brother, Greg Strode of Saint David; one sister, Melanie (and Gzim) Abazi of Newark; stepfather, Terry Davis of Saint David; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Russell Davis.
He worked at JBS in Beardstown.
Services were held Aug. 20 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
