Alliene Brockley Of Vermont Dies

Mrs. Nola Alliene Brockley, 79, of Vermont died at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1987, in Culbertson Hospital, Rushville.

She was born Jan. 14, 1907, in Ray, a daughter of Daniel and Nola Young Aten. She married Leonard Brockley Sept. 2, 1926, in Rushville. He survives.

Also surviving are twins, David Brockley of Vermont and Mrs. Jack (Donna) Farr of Table Grove, two other daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Doris) Kost of Vermont, and Mrs. Phillip (Virginia) McCormick of Astoria; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Leona Horwedel of Vermont and Mrs. Frances Brown of Rushville.

Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Vermont Christian Church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in her church with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.

Memorials may be made to the Vermont Christian Church or the Vermont Rescue Squad.
