Edith Lucille West, 89, of McCall, Idaho, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, in a memory care center in Nampa, Idaho.

She was born Aug. 28, 1916, in Brownsville, Ill., a daughter of Charlie and Mary Kolp Skiles. She married Roy West on May 6, 1939. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sugar; one sister, Mary Haney; and two brothers, Orrin and C.E. (Bud) Skiles.

Surviving are one son, Orval (and Jean) of Nampa; twin daughters, Rowena (and Conley) Kindall of McCall and Ramona (and Terry) Exley of Hendersonville, Tenn; three sisters, Edna Fisk of Astoria, Alice Keil of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Aloise Beaird of Petersburg; one brother, Edward L. Skiles of Industry; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She and her husband moved to Idaho in 1940 and lived in Nampa for many years before moving to McCall in 1971.

Graveside services were held Thursday at McCall Cemetery with Rev. Don Stephens officiating. Heikkila Funeral Chapel in McCall was in charge of arrangements.
