MARY EVELYN (SKILES) HANEY

Mary Haney

Mary Evelyn Haney, 73, of Industry, died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Astoria, a daughter of Charlie A. and Mary Etta Kolp Skiles. She married Gerald M. Haney Sr. on June 21, 1942. He survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Gerald M. Haney Jr. of Industry, James M. Haney of Lakeland, F.la., Jack W. Haney of Cameron, Texas, and David R. Haney of Macomb; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by one infant son, Timothy Haney; one grandson, Forrest Haney; her parents and one brother.

She lived with her husband in the Adair area for several years before moving to the Industry area in 1957. She was a homemaker and was a life long member of the Assembly of God Church.

Services were held this morning at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. David Martin and Rev. Tim Baum officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
