Clair E. Webb, 93, of Astoria died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2000, at Astoria Healthcare Center.
He was born Feb. 9, 1907, in Summum, a son of Charles B. and Ethel D. Smith Webb. He married Margaret Louise Parr on Feb. 15, 1932. She died April 19, 1973.
One granddaughter, five brothers and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, William (and Sara) of Loveland, Colo.; three brothers, Maurice and Floyd, both of Lewistown, and Walter of Astoria; one sister, Mildred Slaight of Canton; three grandsons; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He worked at Key Coal Co. and Astoria Fibra Steel Co. He also was a retired farmer.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Clifford Parry officiating, where visitation will be one hour before. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
