Stella Thompson, 83, of Havana, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1993, at Havana Healthcare Center.
She was born Nov. 18, 1909, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Charles and Cora Fisher Curless. She married Russell Francis Thompson on Nov. 28, 1925, in Lewistown. He died Jan. 3, 1988. Eight brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Russell Jr. and Max Eugene, both of Havana; two brothers, Leo and Donald Curless, both of Bluff City; one sister, Helen Lau of Canton; and six grandchildren.
She was a member of Havana Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Hurley Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Hughes officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
