Perry G. Schisler, 70, of Ipava died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 1988, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Ipava, a son of William and Della Grove Schisler. He married Grace Etter Aug. 1, 1937, in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Jerry of Astoria, Billie and Kenneth, both of Ipava; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Clare of Good Hope and Kenneth W. of Table Grove.
He was a general laborer for PAG Seed Co. in Astoria for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
