Billie Schisler

Billie D. Schisler, 77, of Ipava died at 10:03 a.m. Jan. 6, 2017, at Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.

He was born Oct. 1, 1939, in Ipava, a son of Perry G. and Grace L. Etter Schisler. He married Irene Howard on March 22, 1959, in Ipava. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Tim Schisler of Macomb.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Dick Schisler.

He was a member of First Christian Church in Ipava, and he served in and was honorably discharged from the Army Reserve in Canton. He was a lifetime member of NRA. He served four years as a trustee on the Board of Ipava.

He was employed 37 years at Caterpillar Tractor and 25 years part-time for Walmart.

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell. Burial was in the Bushnell Cemetery.
