She was born Sept. 2, 1938, in Macomb, a daughter of Dale Wilson and Eleanor Maxine Smith. She married Gene Harvey Price on Feb. 7, 1959, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2015.
Surviving are three children, Diana Price Lauzon of Rushville, Gordon Eugene Price of Bader and Kevin Joe (and Nancy) Price of Rushville; one brother, Billy Smith of Beardstown; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Patty Smith Richardson, Sally Asa and Maxine “Dutch” Stambaugh; and two brothers, Jackson Edward Smith and Keith Smith Sr.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1956 and Quincy Beauty Academy in December, 1957.
She was a beautician for several years. She owned and operated Fox and Hound Crafts for 30 years.
Private family graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Fred Fritz officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
