Robert Allen Phillips, 63, of Rushville died at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Rushville Township, Schuyler County, a son of Emery and Dorothy Hiles Phillips.
Surviving are five sisters, Shirley (and Alan) Baker of Golden Valley, Ariz., Norma (and Robert) Jones of Severna Park, Md., Sara (and Al) Conlin of Astoria, Rose Mary (and Byron) Root of Pawnee and Lynn Kokenes of Chicago; and one brother, Terry of Rushville.
He was a livestock handler for Oscar Mayer & Co. in Beardstown before retiring.
He attended Mount Sterling Church of the Nazarene.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services are Sunday, Oct. 17 at Hughes Cemetery west of Rushville with Rev. Dan Taylor officiating. Worthington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
