Mary M. Meyer, 96, of East Peoria, died at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 1994, at Riverview Healthcare Center.
She was born April 12, 1898, in Kerton Township near Astoria, a daughter of Sylvester and Rebecca McKinley Markley. She married Anton Meyer Sept. 18, 1921, in Cardiff. He died in Astoria in 1961. Also preceding her were one sister and two brothers.
Surviving are two sisters, Ethel Moore of East Peoria and Helen Strmac of Peoria; one brother, Roy K. Markley of Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Bible Church of Peoria.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Wilson Mortuary in Peoria officiated by Rev. Steve Weber. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Summum Cemetery in Summum.
Memorials may be made to her church.
