Mrs. Rebecca Markley Dies In Graham Hospital

Mrs. Rebecca Markley, 88, died Tuesday morning at 10:10 o'clock at the Graham hospital, Canton, where she was taken Friday. She was ill for about two years.

She was born April 20, 1866, in Woodland township, a daughter of Calvin and Mahala Currans McKinley. She was united in marriage to Sylvester Markley on Jan. 28, 1883, who preceded her in death on April 11, 1938.

She was a member of the E. U. B. church of Marbletown.

Surviving are three sons and three daughters, namely: Deloss Markley, Astoria, Edwin F. Markley, Havana, Roy K. Markley, Vermont, Mrs. Ethel Moore and Mrs. Helen Strmac of Peoria, and Mrs. Mary Meyers of Astoria; also eleven grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren, and one brother, Fred McKinley of Galesburg.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Astoria E. U. B. church, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson, assisted by Rev. L. F. Gerard. Burial in the Astoria Memorial Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the Shawgo Memorial Home until the hour of funeral.
