Mrs. Dollie Mitchell Dies At Rushville

Mrs. Dollie May Mitchell, 77, lifetime resident of the Browning area, died Monday afternoon in Culbertson Hospital at Rushville following an illness of several years duration.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Shawgo Memorial Home at Astoria, the Rev. David Powell officiating. Burial will be in Browning Cemetery.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Aug. 9, 1884 in Astoria Township, to Ahas and Emma Danner Groves. She married Leonard R. Mitchell, who survives with a son, Otto Vern Mitchell of Browning; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Della Schisler of Ipava and Miss Pearl Groves of Astoria, and one brother, Orlo Groves of Vermont. Two sons and three brothers are deceased.
