M. Orlo Grove Dies May 12

Marion Orlo Grove, 79, of Vermont, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in the Abingdon Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. C. H. Anderson officiating. Burial was in South Fulton Cemetery near Astoria.

He was born Dec. 22, 1890, in Fulton County, the son of George and Emma Danner Grove. He was married to Alice Foutch Frailey on Dec. 24, 1913. She died March 7, 1959. Mr. Grove was a retired blacksmith.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Herrin of Abingdon; two sisters, Mrs. Della Schisler of Ipava and Miss Pearl Grove of Astoria; one grandson; and four step-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two sons, one sister and three brothers.

Mr. Grove lived most of his married life in Bushnell where he worked on the railroad and in Vermont where he had a blacksmith shop.
